What You’ll Do:

• Craft Excellence: Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal parts and products.

• Blueprint Guru: Convert blueprints into detailed shop drawings and follow assembly sequences.
• Hands-On Work: Operate hand and power tools, and perform welding, cutting, and bending.
• Quality Control: Examine workpieces for defects to ensure the highest standards of quality.
• Team Collaboration: Travel as needed for installations and work closely with our safety team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3-5 years in metal fabrication or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, operating tools, and performing metalwork.

Program and operate tables for cutting sheet metal shapes for fabrication of stainless-steel sheet metal structures with high efficiency and minimal waste.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Responsible for material handling of raw material to be cut on the machine.
2. Must be able to read blue prints
3. Operates overhead cranes, following safety guidelines.
4. Responsibility to spot check parts being cut on the table to meet customer’s requirements.
5. Required to complete any and all paperwork relating to job functions.
6. Examines workpieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
7. Operates company vehicles/equipment in a safe and courteous manner and properly parks and secures vehicles at all times.

8. Obeys traffic laws, and follows established traffic and transportation procedures.
9. Detects faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials and notify supervisors.
10. Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits.
11. Participates in all company training.
12. Follows all company policies, procedures and safety rules.  Conduct self at all times in a professional, ethical and courteous manner as a representative of the company.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ press break experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. 
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability to computer basic shop math
• Valid Driver’s License required
